Watched the first period. Flames seemed tired with not much jump. I am guessing maybe the game in LA took its physical toll.

Anyways, good to see Smith rebound. That first goal was a nice shot but he could have had it.

First goal was poop. But he did play well the rest of the game and gave us a chance to win last night. The officiating was absolutely brutal should have had 3 or 4 calls there in the last few minutes. Regardless, we have to put up more than 1 goal if we wanna win games

A few things the boys looked alittle lethargic at times. And dominating at times smith good. Don’t like to blame the refs for the lost but hounestly that was horrible!!! Bad calls made against the flames. And blatant non calls!, that was prob the worst I have seen in years!! It was accually saying to my son wtf why are they not getting a pp really

Good game from Smith. This one's definitely not his fault. It's hard to win when you only score 1 goal.

There was some pretty bad officiating for sure, but given how tired the boys looked I don't think the refs lost us this one. I think we were just exhausted physically from the LA game
It happens and I'm not worried.

Bennett, Backlund, and Janko need to start finishing on some of these glorious chances they are missing

So I guess it's safe to drop James Neal in hockey pools? Guy has sucked ass so far.

I dropped his ass. I also traded horvat, Marchand and sergachev today for ovi, lindholm and Karlsson

My understanding is that any player can take a penalty shot - not only the player who was fouled. If so, I'd say Peters really blew it by not telling Monahan or Lindholm to take it.

I was surprised to see that Lindholm was not chosen to take a shot during the one game we had that went to a shootout. He picked Neal and Gaudreau over Lindholm.

Forgot about that. I was stunned that he picked Gaudreau

As does Lindholm, who also has a 56.8% Faceoff Win %, kills penalties and is only 23!. Ferland is doing great but I would make that trade 1000 times over.
